To invent things I have to run tests over and over again. The same tests. I do the same experiments over and over again. I don't like pointless, boring, repetitive anything. My memory is perfect so if I see an experiment performed once, or if I perform it once, I remember every single detail.

With the FBI, I get to help people and no case is ever the same. The details are always different. Things always come together in a different way and the answers are never the same twice. It gives me something new to study, something new to learn. It's a challenge. I like challenges.

I guess so. I can't go to work right now and sitting around my apartment by myself would make me crazy. Here every day is different. They've also got a high tolerance for me hurting minus pain pills.

And Jack has taken it upon herself to provide me with a constant supply of junk food. I think she's running her own experiment to see if I can gain weight.

Are you kidding? It opens up a whole new spectrum of ideas, concepts, possibilities and things to figure out. It makes some things completely make sense that didn't before. It's like a whole other dimension to problems and solutions I didn't know existed until now. It's like knowing there was an X but finding out there's also a Y on an algebraic equation. Sometimes the Y confuses things but sometimes it's the piece that makes the equation work. Either way, it's something new to work on.

It's not about talking abut it. It's more a-about coming to terms with it yourself. N-not everyone has to talk about it. It's situational too. Everyone deals with their issues differently and as long as you've accepted it and come to terms with what happened, then you don't have to talk about it.

Yes, it is an excuse...sort of. About 75 to 80% of all relationships fail. When you add in additional stressers like job and distance that percentage can shoot up into the 90th percentile. I travel all the time, she is an actress and I'm not sure we had enough in common to keep the percentage down anyway. I didn't know her. I spent a few days with her as her body guard and then she called me once when she was in the DC area...after that we just-Yes it was an excuse. Is an excuse but I think it was a valid one and both of us would have ended up terminally bored with the other or hurt.

I-I don't know. I mean-relationships are much more the accepted norm. A relationship provides things a person needs that sex alone won't. Intimacy for one. U-usually it takes a-while a r-relationship of some sort for me to g-get there.
