Truth Meme
I've given my characters a healthy dose of Veritaserum and now they have to tell the truth. What does this mean for you? Ask my characters questions about anything and everything and they will truthfully answer it. Specify verse if you want to
Rehab
Re: Rehab
With the FBI, I get to help people and no case is ever the same. The details are always different. Things always come together in a different way and the answers are never the same twice. It gives me something new to study, something new to learn. It's a challenge. I like challenges.

And Jack has taken it upon herself to provide me with a constant supply of junk food. I think she's running her own experiment to see if I can gain weight.

All's fair in love and war?

Uhm...n-no. There are some th-things you don't do, in the name of either.

Three times you shoulda taken the other choice. No BAU stuff, either, cowboy.

N-no cases...let me th-think:
I should n-not have gone to meet Alexa Lisbon behind the bleachers.
I should have pushed harder with Lila Archer
I sh-shouldn't have t-t-taken the hydromorphone fr-from Tobias' p-pocket.

Last one sounds interesting. Not that you got to expand. Just...didn't peg you that way.

S-sober for just o-over a year. It's the reason I wo-won't take pain killers n-now.
no subject
Oh, shit. Okay, little more serious than I thought. Uhh...sorry.

Lila was-is an actress. I h-helped her--caught the woman stalking her. She-We-I d-didn't--she thought that between her job and mine we'd n-never see each other. I let it go at that.
It's okay. Uhm-talking about it is part of the pr-program.

It's cool, shit happens. You gotta shake it off, move on.
Yeah, that's what they always say. Doesn't work for me.

I have. B-besides I never would have fit in h-her world anyway.
It's not about talking abut it. It's more a-about coming to terms with it yourself. N-not everyone has to talk about it. It's situational too. Everyone deals with their issues differently and as long as you've accepted it and come to terms with what happened, then you don't have to talk about it.

Guess that sentiment's a guy thing whether you're undead or not.
Gotcha. What about you? It help?
no subject
Wh-what? I just meant--actresses-I don't-I'm not much like the guy you see on a red carpet.
Talking exhaustively, no. Finally admitting it and being accountable to someone besides myself, yes.

It's just this thing, with a vamp I know. Obsessed with not fitting into someone else's life. To me? It's a lame excuse.
That works too.

Yes, it is an excuse...sort of. About 75 to 80% of all relationships fail. When you add in additional stressers like job and distance that percentage can shoot up into the 90th percentile. I travel all the time, she is an actress and I'm not sure we had enough in common to keep the percentage down anyway. I didn't know her. I spent a few days with her as her body guard and then she called me once when she was in the DC area...after that we just-Yes it was an excuse. Is an excuse but I think it was a valid one and both of us would have ended up terminally bored with the other or hurt.
