001: [Video/Voice/Action] The FBI doesn't give ransom

[Reid pokes at the communication device a moment, brow furrowed as he tries to figure it out. Finally the video flickers on and Reid is staring down at it. He's dressed in a button down shirt, tie and grandpa cardigan sweater. He's also leaning on a cane. He's nervous but managing to keep his cool. Reid is working at keeping his mind off the last time he was kidnapped. This isn't the same, he thinks to himself. He's not tied up. Maybe this isn't a kidnapping. Maybe...]

Uhm...I-I'm Dr. Spencer Reid with the FBI. I d-don't know who you are or where this is but someone will be coming for me. If you'd like to t-talk, you haven't done anything w-wrong yet. I'm not hurt. You need to talk to me n-now because holding a federal agent against his will is a crime.

[Reid looks up when the girl comes around the bend. He's sitting on the bench so he stands up, leaning on his cane as he does. His gun is holstered on his belt. He tucks his hair behind one ear and starts toward her]

Yes. Uhm...I don't believe that intelligence can really be accurately quantified but...yes. I'm smart. I'm not a medical doctor. I've got doctorates in mathematics, chemistry and engineering. M-most people think MD when I use my title.

[He flounders for a minute, tweaking out a bit and obviously very bothered by what has occurred to him]

[He notices the reassuring smile, adds to it that she offered to come help him. It all goes into a little mental profile. It does make him feel better and a little suspicious. Sometimes unsubs try to be reassuring in order to gain trust for some future purpose. He was shot. He'll talk about it if asked]

Uhm...I've gathered that it's Wonderland...like Lewis Carroll's book. The mansion feeds off our memories and we're stuck here.

It might be. Never had much contact with FBI or any of the other major orgs.

I ain't up with the proper sci-fi terms or nothing. But black holes, wormholes, and other holes ain't always literal holes. I just walked into a warehouse and wound up here instead. You might need to broaden your mind a bit.
