Reid was sitting at a table outside the coffee shop waiting for Hanna to show up. They'd pre arranged to meet here. In his head he was trying to decide what the best approach was. Clearly, Hanna was mentally unstable but the only person he'd ever had to intervene in their lives directly because of that had been his mother. He couldn't exactly commit Hanna. She'd have to do that herself. He had time to make those sort of decisions though. Right now he was going to have his coffee and wait for her to show up.

Reid thought about what she was saying, trying to compare it to other delusionals they'd studied. She didn't want to be held responsible for some of the things she'd done or that others had done. In her delusional, she could lay all the blame on the demon. Or someone could at least.

"You're saying the demon can control what the human does but I'm asking if it can control outside forces. For example, if the demon possessed the person, could he or she keep the parents of the child it possessed from committing it."

He was totally going to commit her after so she figured she'd just dig her crazy grave deeper. "They don't stick around if they have a job to do. They find some poor bastard to possess and leave. Or they pretend to be that person. The person usually just simply goes missing. Thoese missing persons that are never found? Probably a demon possession. Those random dead bodies found that have no evidence linking to any killer? Probably a demon." They just drove past Deleware state lines. They'd be in Seaford in no time.

"W-well sometimes we find the bodies of m-missing people," he stammered, a little unnerved by the whole idea. She had a point. There were missing people that they never found.

Hanna nodded. "But did you ever find the killer? Was there any evidence? Or were they just dumped? It's demons. Black eyed sons of bitches. And there are people like me out there trying to stop them; trying to save the people we can."

"S-sometimes," Reid admitted. "We usually solve our cases but there are cold cases out there." It wasn't something anyone in his profession liked to admit.

Hanna smirked. She was getting to him, even if it was just a little. She was making him think. "Exactly. And why do you think they're cold cases? Because the investigators did a shitty job at trying to find the killer? No. Because what killed them can't be explained by science. What killed them didn't leave fingerprints or fibers. They might have left the smell of sulfer but that's it. It's because something supernatural killed them. A ghost, a vampire, a demon or something else. Yes, those all exist too, by the way."

"You believe they existed but that doesn't mean-" Reid stopped because she could just as easily turn that around on him. "Maybe you'll turn me into a believer. I tend to want proof of things in general."

From: [identity profile] so-lessfragile.livejournal.com
"Then proof you'll get." And that was fact. She heard from a few of her sources - not friends, she had none of those - that Seaford had a few demons in town. They were masquerading as a waitress and bartender at a club there. Why? Because clubs were a hotspot for demon deals.

The car just whipped passed the Welcome to Seaford sign. Hanna smiled. It was almost dark. Perfect timing. The club would be opening soon. Maybe she could get this job over and done with quick.

"Alright," Reid nodded. He was worried about this whole thing but he just needed to keep his cool and think this all through. He could handle this.

ooc: he's kinda absorbing and wondering and thinking so I apologize for the lack of words on his part right now!

Hanna pulled up to a motel that was just down the street from the club. She cut the engine and opened the car door. "Seperate rooms or two doubles?" she asked.

ooc: haha thats ok! Hanna is just determind to make a believer out of him.

If she was mentally unstable and considering killing people who were 'demons', he didn't want to leave her alone. "Two doubles are fine."

Huh. Hanna was sure he would go for the seperate rooms, seeing she was "mentally unstable" and all but she went and got the one room nonetheless. "Ok, we'll shove our things in the room and head to the club."

"Right," Spencer nodded as he grabbed his bag out of the back. He grabbed her bag as well and followed her to the room.

Once the bags were put on the bed, Hanna rummaged through hers. Where was that bottle of holy water... right. She found it under a bunch of t-shirts. She needed to learn to seperate her things, not just shove as much as she can in one bag and the rest in her trunk.

She was about to say they should leave but realized that she wasn't wearing something suitable for a club. She should change. She grabbed her bag, muttered a be right back and went into the bathroom. She ditched the t-shirt she was wearing for a tight halter and the baggy jeans for tighter black ones. Over the halter she wore her leather jacket. She emerged from the bathroom with a smug grin on her face. "Ready?"

While Hanna was in the bathroom, Reid stripped off his sweater, leaving the white buttondown underneath it. He put on a shoulder holster and put his gun in it. He put his jacket back over the gun and put his badge in his inside pocket. He wasn't particularly dressed for a club but then again he didn't really have club clothes. He looked up when Hanna came out of the bathroom and swallowed hard.

"U-uhm-y-yeah." Pretty girls made him nervous. At least pretty girls that weren't a case or a job and even then sometimes they made him nervous.

"By the way," she said as she headed for the door. "Guns are useless with demons. All it will do is make them bleed. They won't collapse, even if you shoot them in the head. It will only hurt the body that they're possessing in the end." With that she opened the door and sauntered outside. The cold wind blew through her hair. It was a nice enough evening to walk.

"I'll be careful what I shoot then," Reid answered as he caught up with her. "I don't really like using my gun anyway."

"Good," Hanna said as she walked. "I hope you like using your fists then. The guy I heard from about this case told me what the demons look like. Now, he's the one that investigated this case hardcore, I'm just here to get the demons out of them. He's a bit old, can't get around like he used to, that's why. Anyway, he said it's the blonde bartender with the red streak in her hair and the brunette waitress with the pixie cut, so be on the lookout for them." Hanna was beyond caring that he didn't believe her. She was in hunt mode now.

Spencer almost laughed at the comment about good with his fists. "No, I'm not the muscle on our team. I'm the...brain."

From: [identity profile] so-lessfragile.livejournal.com
"Then I'm the muscle. Fine with me." Once they reached the club, Hanna saw that there was already a line. Damn. It was hardly 8oclock. This town probably doesn't have many attractions for it's youth. But she did notice that the line held people that were hardly 18 and the bouncer, a big, big white guy, stared at them with hardly any interest. Huh. She had an idea though. "Follow my lead and don't say anything. And please take no offense to what I'm about to say, it's only for the sake of getting into the club. I swear. You're actually pretty cute." she said and linked her arm through Reid's and dragged him along.

"Hi, big guy," she said in her smooth, seductive voice. "Listen, I'd really appriciate it if you let us in. I made a bet with a few girlfriends that I could get Spence here in no problem. You'd be doing me a real favor if you stepped aside and let us walk right in."

The fact that he was blushing and nervously tucking his hair back probably added to the whole illusion she was trying to create. Her telling him that he was pretty cute was responsible for the blush and the nerves. He wasn't really surprised when the bouncer let them through. He'd seen enough pretty girls work guys like the bouncer that he almost expected it. Besides, the bouncer wanted to fill the club with pretty girls, him on her arm wouldn't deter anyone from anything.

"Well it worked," he said as they walked in the club.

Hanna grinned. "So it did." She looked around the place and spotted the bar off to the left wall and behind it, the blonde with the streak. "Bingo, demon one, three o'clock..." she trailed off, looking for the brunette. Hanna's eyes fell on her quick enough. She was chatting with a bunch of jocks at a table. Making a few deals? Possibly. "Ok, I have a plan," she said walking over to the bar. She squeezed her way through the mass of people and smiled and the big buff bartender man; her favorite kind. "Hiya. Apple Martini please," she said with a small smirk. That was easy enough to pour some holy water in and spill on a poor, possessed waitress.

Reid was just along for the ride here. He stuck pretty close to Hanna. He was watching the exits closely but he was out of his element here and he wasn't sure what he was supposed to be doing. Mostly he watched Hanna. She was the one he was worried about and she wasn't a hardship to watch.

Once she had the martini she drew back from the bar and took out the holy water from her purse. Any onlooker would think she was just adding a little extra vodka to the mix. She then made her way over to where the waitress-demon was still talking to the jocks. As she walked by she pretended to trip on her own feet and spilled a little of the drink on her. Naturally, the skin of the waitress started to sizzle. Hanna also muttered "Cristo" just to add to the effect.

The girl spun around, black eyes gleaming. "Hunter," it sneered. Reid better not be missing this, Hanna thought.

From: [identity profile] yes-imagenius.livejournal.com
He wasn't missing it exactly. He just couldn't really believe what he was seeing. In his mind, he was trying to rationalize the sizzling skin and the black eyes. He kind of flailed behind her, trying to figure out what the hell he was supposed to be doing. He didn't want to draw his gun out here. It'd just cause panic and if she were right, the gun wouldn't do any good.
